Storytelling & storyboarding are widely known to be the cornerstones of filmmaking, but did you know they are also the bedrock of UX design?
In UX, storyboarding helps designers reframe their thinking, and view their designs in the user’s point of view. It is an exercise of empathy, allowing designers to go through every step their user has to go through in their journey, in order to think of the best solution for them.
Presenting the user journey in a storyboard also plays into humanity’s oldest way to grab attention: storytelling. Stories can present solutions in a way that is universally understood with minimal room for misunderstanding, and inspire collaboration in order to create that solution.
Join us in discovering how the art of storytelling can help you as a UX designer, and how to harness the power of storyboarding to elevate your project and create change.
